Here's Some Symptoms and How to Treat Urinary Tract Infection
Whenhealthy - Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is a type of infection that is
very common and usually more often infected in women than men. UTI can occur in
renal tract (ureters), bladder, or urinary tract outside (urethra).
The main bacterial cause of UTI’s is bacteria called
Escherichia coli (E. coli) that is abundant in the feces of humans and normally
live in the colon. Women are more susceptible to UTI’s because the female
urethra is shorter than the male urethra so that the bacteria are easier to
reach. Infection can also be triggered by stones in the urinary tract that
holds the colony. In contrast, chronic UTI can also cause urinary stone
disease.
Other Microorganisms called Chlamydia and Mycoplasma may
also cause UTIs in men and women, but tends only in the urethra and
reproductive system. In contrast to E coli, the bacteria (Chlamydia and
Mycoplasma) can be transmitted sexually so handling should be on both the
husband and wife.
Symptoms of Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
UTI sufferer may complain of the following things:
- Pain during urination or thereafter
- sufferers often have wanted to urinate, but little urine comes out
- The white blood cells (leukocytes) exceeds normal levels
- The color of urine is thick / dense as water tea, sometimes reddish if there is blood (which indicate an excess of red blood cells (erythrocytes))
- Pain in the waist
- Fever or chills, which indicates the infection has reached the kidneys (accompanied by pain in the lower back of the ribs, nausea or vomiting)
Treatment of Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)
UTI treatment is usually given by the obstetrician is with
antibiotics. but there is also a traditional medicine that is believed to have
antiseptic power that is contained in the betel leaf water. However,
traditional medicine as it should not be too reliable when the need is very
urgent.
