The body has immunity to attack the disease and to maintain healthy. But in this disease, it attacks the body's immune organs. So, lupus disease allegedly due to excessive immunological system.
The body has immunity to attack the disease and to maintain healthy. But in this disease, it attacks the body's immune organs. So, lupus disease allegedly due to excessive immunological system.
Antibodies in a person's body that works to attack the
source of the disease to be included in the body. This unique of Lupus disease,
the antibodies in the body appears excessive. As a result, these antibodies
actually attack the cells of healthy body tissue. This disorder is called
autoimmunity.
This excessive antibodies, can enter the entire network in
two ways:
First, the antibodies 'strange' can directly attack
the tissue, such as the red blood cells (erythrocytes), which causes the cell
to be destroyed. This is resulting in the sufferer a shortage of red blood
cells or anemia.
Second, the antibodies can be joined with the antigen
(a substance stimulating the formation of antibodies), forming bonds called
immune complexes. then the antibody and the antigen together flow with blood,
until caught in the capillaries to cause inflammation.
Under normal circumstances, the complex will be limited by
inflammatory cells (phagocytes). However, in abnormal conditions, this complex
can not be limited properly. In fact, inflammatory cells had multiplied while
producing enzymes, which cause inflammation around the complex. As a result,
the process will be prolonged inflammation and damage organs and interfere with
its function. Furthermore, it will be seen as a symptom of the disease. If this
is the case, then in the long run will be disturbed organ function more
seriously.
A total cure of the disease, it seems difficult. Doctors are
more focused on the treatment of temporary nature. More focused on preventing
the spread of the disease and do not attack the body's vital organs.
